2025 Clermont Chamber Safety Council: AED Use and Training

2025 Clermont Chamber Safety Council: AED Use and Training

Wednesday, October 8, 2025 (8:30 AM - 9:30 AM) (EDT)

Description

Enhance your workplace safety and compliance with the Clermont County Safety Council, a key monthly event hosted by the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

Held on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am, this series offers a valuable platform for learning, networking, and discussing critical safety topics relevant to today’s work environments.

October Meeting

Join us for an important and potentially life-saving training session focused on the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). This Safety Council event will provide hands-on instruction and best practices for recognizing cardiac emergencies and responding effectively using an AED.

Attendees will learn:

  1. When and how to use an AED
  2. The steps for assessing a cardiac arrest situation
  3. Proper techniques for operating an AED safely and confidently
  4. Integration of AED use into your workplace emergency response plan

Whether you're refreshing your knowledge or learning for the first time, this session equips you with critical skills to act quickly in high-pressure moments.

Training provided by Heather Lawson and Rick Schnipke with Cintas.
